WHAT CAN FINTECH DO TO HELP SMALL BUSINESSES RECOVER AND MOVE FORWARD?

FinTech stepped up in 2020 to help banks deliver PPP loans to small businesses. Now, as SMBs start to shift from survival to recovery mode, how will FinTech help them build resilience through access to the capital, payments, back office, and insurance products they need to move forward?

FINANCIAL SERVICES SHIFTING CENTER ON ESG

Financial Services is a tale of two converging trends that are gathering momentum and, in many respects, could fundamentally change the way capital is allocated, invested, and traded. The first - a tsunami of interest from retail and institutional investors alike in constructing portfolio strategies that consider the impact of the investment on driving positive ESG outcomes. This necessitates money managers unpack abstract ideas at the security level without much quantitative data and incorporate them into their decisions.

The second - the adoption of new technology applications, like the blockchain, that are creating new, tradeable assets and fractionalizing other. Join us for an exciting discussion on the current state, their challenges, and then how they hold the promise to positively impact the future when these two trends meet in the middle.

#RESPECTTHEHUSTLE: FINANCIAL SERVICES FOR THE GROWING GIG ECONOMY

The COVID-19 crisis revealed our reliance on the gig economy to keep many businesses running, and yet the financial products needed to properly support gig workers are commonly overlooked. Tying benefits and common financial products, such as health insurance, tax filings, and 401(k)s, to a traditional employer is simply not an option. These startups are rethinking finances so that they work for freelancers, contractors, and the millions of other independent workers.

WHEN 5G, EDGE COMPUTING AND FINTECH COLLIDE: GENERATING REAL DATA ADVANTAGES FOR FINANCIAL SERVICES.

Financial Services has faced a perennial challenge aggregating, structuring, and analyzing an ever-growing corpus of digital information with enough time to act. From electronic commerce to smartphone surfing to GPS devices to most every human action in between, the amount of new information investors, insurers and FinTech entrepreneurs could access is truly profound even after a decade of working with "big data". What exciting innovations are on the horizon for Financial Services when on-the-run people, machines, and devices connect to sophisticated computational capabilities?

HOW DO I SEE INTO AN ENTERPRISE AS AN EARLY-STAGE STARTUP?
